Man Dies From Injuries after Tulsa Chase Crash

KWGS News File Photo

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Tulsa man has died after crashing his motorcycle while being pursued by a trooper. The OHP says 33-year-old Chad Alan Woods died at a Tulsa hospital of head and other injuries following the crash about 9 p.m. Tuesday. The OHP says a trooper had tried to stop Woods for an undisclosed traffic violation on Interstate 244 when Woods sped away and eventually drove onto U.S. 412 — then onto a city street. Troopers say Woods then drove onto the shoulder of the street and lost control of the motorcycle in a curve causing it to flip and throwing him from the motorcycle.
