Major Police Grant from DOJ

By KWGS News

Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Police Department is in line for a four-point-four million dollar grant from the Justice Department. Tulsa is included in the communities splitting 298-million dollars from the Justice Department.

The money is to provide 100-percent of the approved salary and benefits for entry level officer positions over a three year period. If the department accepts the grant, it would be required to keep the officers for a fourth year.
