The new owner of Tulsa’s PennWell Corporation will slash the staff. About 100 employees were told today their jobs would be ending in August.
London-based Clarion Events purchased PennWell earlier this year. PennWell is a media marketing and publishing company.
PennWell says it will provide the dismissed workers with ‘Career Transition Services’.
PennWell can trace its roots back to Tulsa’s oil boom days and is the publisher of the Oil and Gas Journal.
