From the Locker Room: A Local Sports Round-Up

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Landry Jones threw for 500 yards and three touchdowns, and Brennan Clay scored on an 18-yard run in overtime to lift Number 14 Oklahoma to a 51-48 win against Number 22 Oklahoma State in the Bedlam rivalry yesterday. The Sooners never led during regulation in Norman, overcoming double-digit deficits in both halves. Backup quarterback Blake Bell tied it with 4 seconds left on a 4-yard keeper on fourth-and-1.

DALLAS (AP) — Zach Line ran for three touchdowns, and SMU got a last-second, goal-line stop to hold off Tulsa 35-27 on Saturday and become eligible for a school-record fourth consecutive bowl game. The Golden Hurricane rallied behind Cody Green, and almost came back to win it in Dallas. He threw touchdowns to Willie Carter and Keyarris Garrett before Alex Singleton's 1-yard run pulled Tulsa within eight with 5:05 to play.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — DeMario Mayfield scored 17 points to lead Charlotte to a 72-58 victory over Oral Roberts in the semifinals of the Great Alaska Shootout Friday night. Guard Shawn Glover led ORU with 18 points and center Damen Bell-Holter added 13 rebounds in Anchorage, Alaska.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Kevin Durant scored 37 points, Russell Westbrook had 30 and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Philadelphia 76ers 116-109 in overtime last night. Serge Ibaka added 18 points for the defending Western Conference champions, who've won nine of their past 11 games to earn a 10-4 record.
