2 Okla. deputies killed in crash on highway
ASHER, Okla. (AP) Authorities say two Pottawatomie County sheriff's deputies have been killed in a collision near Asher.
Officials say the crash happened about 8 p.m. Friday on Oklahoma Highway 39, four miles west of U.S. Highway 177 between Asher and Conway. The deputies were riding in the same patrol car when the vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer rig.
The names of the deputies weren't released, and additional details of the crash weren't immediately available.
