Public Radio Tulsa – Public Radio Tulsa's antenna, located on a tower in Coweta, Oklahoma, has been broken since January, resulting in poor reception in areas throughout Green Country. A new antenna will be installed at the end of August which should result in better FM radio and HD radio coverage on 88.7 and 89.5.
During the antenna replacement weekend, we'll be broadcasting with even lower power from alternate antenna sites. Because of this, you may not receive the stations in areas outside of Tulsa. Within the city, the signals will be either stronger or weaker than normal. By Tuesday the 31st, everything should be back to normal and hopefully improved.
