TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says the bridge over the Keystone Dam is expected to open by the end of November.

Crews are rebuilding the Highway 151 bridge over the dam because of safety concerns with the 50-year-old span. Work has been ongoing since October 2013, when the bridge was closed.

The Corps says there have been some delays with the $15.6 million project, but that officials are working closely with the contractor to ensure the quality and safety of the bridge.

The bridge is being paid for with a combination of state and federal funding.
