TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Eight city attorneys in the Tulsa area have issued a statement asking the Tulsa County Criminal Justice Authority to delay consideration of a proposal by Tulsa County Sheriff Stanley Glanz to charge municipalities for inmates held in the jail before charges are filed.
The World newspaper reports that Glanz's proposal is scheduled to be considered today by the Criminal Justice Authority.
