Interim Public Defender Named

Brewster law firm

A well-known attorney is named interim Tulsa County Public Defender.    Rob Nigh has been associated with some high profile cases in the past,  including the Oklahoma City bombing, the Baby Veronica case, and the Good Friday shootings in Tulsa. He came to Tulsa 20 years ago to be an assistant public defender, now he will take the top job in the office on an interim basis.

Nigh will serve in the Chief Defender’s post while a search is on for a permanent successor. Nigh says he doesn’t intend to be a candidate for the post on a permanent basis.
