The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office says the body of an inmate was found dead, in his cell, at the David Moss Correctional Center. The discovery was made late Saturday afternoon. The Tulsa County Sheriff's office sent the following news release to Tulsa area media:
At approximately 4:20 p.m. a David L Moss employee while conducting a routine security check found a 54 year old inmate unresponsive. A Medical Emergency code was called; medical staff responded however life saving measures were unsuccessful. At this time an investigation has begun, and at this point in the investigation there are no apparent signs of trauma. The deceased has been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office. The investigation continues.
