Immigration Scams

By KWGS

Tulsa, OK –
A shift in prioritizing immigration cases isn't changing the way law enforcement in Tulsa County operates. But Sheriff's Sargeant Shannon Clark says it's helping shine a light on individuals who are taking unfair advantage. He says they're hearing more about ripoff artists misleading those who may have unrealistic hope of staying here or returning quickly.

Officials say the reality is the change in prioritizing immigration cases does not alter eligibility for legal residency or prevent arrest.
