Tulsa, OK – 1 lane of westbound Interstate 44 closed in Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. (AP) One lane of westbound Interstate 44 in Tulsa has been closed following an accident involving a tractor-trailer rig.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the semi hit a bridge over Peoria Avenue in southwest Tulsa about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. Both westbound lanes were shut down for about four-and-a-half hours before one lane was reopened just before 6:15 a.m.
The patrol says one lane will remain closed until repairs are complete.
Details of the accident were not immediately released.
