A city of Tulsa misdemeanor ticket amnesty program this month is wildly successful, getting overdue fines off the books much more than anticipated.

Municipal Court Administrator Kelly Brader says going to different parks throughout the city has brought out hundreds of people to pay overdue fines. By taking advantage of the amnesty, you avoid paying court costs and late fees, but must still pay the original fine. The only remote location docket left is Thursday at Whiteside Park from 10am until 2pm. You may still go to the municipal court building downtown through Friday when the amnesty ends.
