Human Services Commission Recommends Budget

courtesy Preston Doerflinger

The Oklahoma Commission for Human Services approved a Department of Human Services budget proposal to be sent to the Governor's office.

One of the priorities is the Oklahoma Pinnacle Plan, the reform measures instituted following a lawsuit against the foster care system.

Other priorities include the replacement of previous one-time funding commitments for current programs, and possible funding in the event that federal money is lost due to the Budget Control Act.
