OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The average price for a gallon of gasoline in Oklahoma now stands at $1.85 heading into the Thanksgiving holiday.

Triple A Oklahoma reported Tuesday that the prices are down by 51 cents per gallon since October 9th and are the lowest for the Thanksgiving holiday since 2008.

Prices in selected cities around the state range from $1.73 per gallon in Bartlesville, Muskogee and Shawnee to $1.95 per gallon in Idabel.

Motorists in Oklahoma City were paying an average of $1.81 and those in Tulsa were paying $1.75 per gallon, although AAA said some stations in both metro areas had prices just above $1.50 per gallon.
