Sand Springs, OK – SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (AP) After being closed for more than two decades, the former Hissom Memorial Center in Sand Springs should soon be demolished. Officials say demolition work on the facility that once housed people with developmental disabilities will begin this summer and should last about three months. The work will cost about $3 million.
