Hike of Honor Comes to Tulsa on the Anniversary of 9-11

KWGS News

A man hiking across the nation to honor fallen first responders, passes through Tulsa on the 12th anniversary of 9-11. He calls it the Hike of Honor. Volunteer firefighter and former U-S Marine Lance Robinson is hiking across the country to draw attention to the service of those who died during the worst terrorist attack on American soil. For every mile between Tulsa and Dallas, he will place an American flag with the name of a firefighter who lost his life as a result of the 9-11 terrorist attack.

The Tulsa to Dallas trek is only one segment of a hike across the country that will take him to all 48 contiguous states…a journey that will take him three years to complete.
