High Heat for the Holiday

Near record high temperatures are forecast through the
holiday weekend.  The early season heat may raise heat
stress potential for any prolonged outdoor exposure.
A slight chance of thunderstorms returns by mid next
week as a weak cold front approaches the region.
Excessive heat is likely to remain in place and possibly
worsen by late next week.
