'Hey, Sunday Sun'

NWS

Patchy fog and freezing fog has developed this morning across
portions of eastern Oklahoma and northwestern Arkansas. The fog is
most dense in and near valleys in the terrain of far eastern Oklahoma
and northwest Arkansas where visibility was locally reduced to less
than one half mile. Freezing fog will likely result in some slick
spots on bridges and overpasses where the fog is most dense.
Conditions will improve by late morning, with sunny and warmer
conditions expected.

The next storm system to affect the Southern Plains will translate
down the west coast and into the Southern Rockies tonight through
Tuesday. Moisture will be pulled back into the area ahead of this
system, resulting in increasing shower and thunderstorm chances
Tuesday and Tuesday night. The system will move through the area on
Wednesday spreading widespread showers and thunderstorms across
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. At this time, there appears
to be some severe weather potential and flooding could once again
become a concern.
