Henryetta Officer's Home and Cars Lost to Fire

Henryetta Police

A Henryetta Police officer lost his police car and home in a fire yesterday. He suffered some minor burns… but the rest of the family--- including his five children got out okay. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Henryetta Police Department released the following statement on its Facebook Page:

We are sad to report that this morning Officer Richards house and vehicles burned and were total loses. We are asking for donations of new and gently used clothing. Girls size 5T and boys sizes 6, 8-10, 12-14 and adult size medium shirts and 32" waist pants. Toiletries and basic household items would also be greatly appreciated.

Items can be take to the Henryetta Police Department. If you wish to make a cash donation at the PD, please place it in a envelope labeled Richards Family. We do plan to set up an account tomorrow at the bank.

Thank you.
