Tulsa, OK – Hearing set for man charged in triple slaying

TULSA, Okla. (AP) A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 7 in Tulsa for a man charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of three people at a Tulsa motel.

The hearing was set Monday during a court appearance for 19-year-old Dale Curtis Carr.

Judge Dawn Moody entered a not guilty plea for Carr and appointed the Tulsa County Public Defender's Office to represent him.

Carr is charged in the October shooting deaths of 23-year-old Joey Mike, 19-year-old Jermiko Thomas and 20-year-old Toni Ruff.

Police say the three were shot in the head and that Mike was robbed.
