Oklahoma City, OK – Supplies sent from Oklahoma to stricken Haiti
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A planeload of supplies from Oklahoma is heading to earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
The load that includes medical supplies, tents, quilts and pillows was put on the plane Sunday at Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma City.
It is to leave Monday for Fort Lauderdale, Fla., then on to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
The items were donated by Cherokee Hills Christian Church, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Edmond, St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Edmond and Crossings Community Church and the Oklahoma Division of Associated General Contractors of America.
