Grizzly Bears make Debut at Tulsa Zoo

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Two grizzly bears are making their Tulsa Zoo debut this week.

Butch and Sundance are on loan from the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, South Carolina.

The pair will stay in Tulsa while the Riverbanks Zoo finishes construction on its new grizzly bear and otter habitat, which is slated to open next spring.

Butch and Sundance arrived at the Tulsa Zoo in April and underwent a standard quarantine period. The duo is now on display near the lemur exhibit.
