OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The body of an Oklahoma soldier killed in Afghanistan is returning home.

The Oklahoma National Guard says the remains of 26-year-old Sgt. Christopher Gailey of Ochelata will arrive Wednesday at the Tulsa Air National Guard Base.

Gailey and 19-year-old Sarina Butcher of Checotah were killed on Nov. 1 when a bomb was detonated near their military vehicle. Both were members of the Oklahoma National Guard's 45th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and were based in Sand Springs.

A graduate of Caney Valley High School in Ramona, Gailey had previously deployed to Iraq in 2007.

His funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bartlesville.
