GRDA Withholds Action on New Plant
The Grand River Dam Authority holds off on approving a new controversial $300-million natural gas fired generating station. The item was removed from today’s board meeting agenda.
Governor Fallin is in opposition of the proposed power plant and has appointed a special task force to review the Authority’s operation. Meanwhile, a meeting has been set between the Governor and Dan Sullivan, the head of the GRDA, for next week.
