Oklahoma City, Ok – Three firefighters were injured due to a large grass fire in Noble a fire that forced the evacuation of both the high school and homes in the area.
Josh Flesher, a Noble emergency dispatcher, said late Thursday he did not know the extent of the firefighters' injuries. Flesher also said the fire is now contained, with the crew only putting out hot spots.
For a third day in Oklahoma fires have kept crews busy, with firefighters beating back two rekindled fires in Oklahoma City. Other blazes have been reported in southern Oklahoma, near Ada, Goldsby, Fort Cobb, and Tupelo.
