Mayor Bartlett accompanied Governor Fallin on a tour damage in the Tulsa area from last Wednesday morning's storm. The Governor met with reporters at the OSU Center for Health Sciences which sustained heavy damage. The roof was ripped from the building, at 17th and Southwest Boulevard,  by 80 mph winds and dumped into the middle of 17th Street.

The Governor pledged state support to help the city recover. As of 10 AM on Saturday morning, the Public Service Company of Oklahoma reported electric service had been restored to all but 4,300 customers in Tulsa County.
