Oklahoma City, OK – Fallin announces appointments to Okla boards

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Gov. Mary Fallin has announced appointments to two state boards and the University Hospitals Authority.

Fallin said Friday that Mike Samis was reappointed to the University Hospitals Authority; Dr. Terry Gerard was appointed to the state Board of Health and Greg Adams and Stephen Dudley were appointed to the state Board of Pharmacy.

Samis, Gerard and Adams have been confirmed by the Oklahoma Senate, and Dudley's appointment doesn't require Senate confirmation.

Samis, owner of Samis Investments, will serve a three-year term, and Gerard, an emergency room physician at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma, will serve a nine-year term.

On the pharmacy board, Adams, a Clinton pharmacist, will serve a five-year term and Dudley, an Edmond neurodiagnostic technologist,, will serve a four-year term.
