Oklahoma City, OK – Governor appoints 7 to Oklahoma state boards

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Governor Mary Fallin has made appointments to five state boards, including the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists and the Oklahoma Funeral Board.

Fallin's office says Edmond psychologist Stewart Beasley will replace Gale Hobson on the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, and Oklahoma State University clinical assistant professor Teri Bourdeau will replace Tom Brian.

Ross Health Care administrator and co-founder Cindy Longanacre has been named to the Oklahoma Funeral Board, replacing Bill Crutcher, who resigned.

Others named to boards were Phyllis Carson to the Health Care Workforce Resources Board; Greg Wood and Terry Jones to the Hospice Advisory Board, and Stan Tatum to the Hospital Advisory Committee.

Senate confirmation isn't required for any of the appointments.
