Gatorade Plant Closing at Pryor

Pryor, OK – 100 people will soon be out of work at Pryor's Gatorade plant. The facility opened less than three years ago. A news release from the company says the decision to close the plant was not easy, but was necessary considering the overall market conditions.

Manufacturing work has already ceased at the plant The facility will be mothballed in about three months. Gatorade is owned by PepsiCo. The plant cost $180-million and was PepsiCo's largest Gatorade facility.
