OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The average price for gasoline continues to fall across Oklahoma.
AAA Oklahoma said Tuesday that the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gas is $1.50 — nearly 4 cents lower than last week and almost 25 cents less than a month ago. The price is $1.87 per gallon lower than one year ago.
AAA spokesman Chuck Mai said Oklahoma's average price is the second lowest in the nation to the $1.49 per gallon in Missouri. The national average is $1.79 per gallon.
Prices per gallon in selected Oklahoma cities range from $1.39 in Shawnee to $1.55 in Idabel. Drivers in Oklahoma City are paying an average of $1.46 per gallon while the price in Tulsa averages $1.48 and the price in Lawton is $1.43 per gallon on average.
