Oklahoma City, OK – Oklahoma gas price average at $3.43 per gallon
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The average price of gasoline declined in Oklahoma this week.
AAA Oklahoma reports that the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline was $3.43, down 1.6 cents from last week. Nationwide, gas prices fell 3.1 cents to $3.58 per gallon.
AAA Oklahoma spokesman Chuck Ma says dramatic shifts in the oil market and equities caused a drop in the price for a barrel of oil. Mai says nearly a month ago, crude prices were flirting with $100 per barrel on the futures market, but are now down around $80 per barrel.
