Gasoline prices jump another 10 cents at the pump in Tulsa, reaching $3.29 a gallon. It follows a 10 cent jump earlier this week…and more hikes in January. Prices are up more than 40-cents a gallon since January 7th. Chuck Mai with Oklahoma Triple-A says he’s never seen increases at this rate this time of year, when prices are usually stabilizing. He says there are several factors at work… an improving economy, higher crude prices, some refinery problems, and wall street speculation. Mai doesn’t see prices dropping any time soon, and says they could continue trending upward through the spring.
