Oklahoma City, OK – Funerals set for 3 fallen Oklahoma soldiers
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Funerals have been scheduled for three Oklahoma National Guard members who died earlier this month in Afghanistan.
The Oklahoma National Guard announced Wednesday that the funeral for 1st Lt. Damon Leehan of Moore will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond. The 30-year-old Moore was killed Aug. 14 when a military vehicle he was riding in struck an IED.
Guard officials say the funeral for Spc. Joshua Seals of Porter will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Porter Consolidated High School. The 21-year-old Seals died Aug. 16 in a non-combat related incident.
An 11 a.m. funeral on Saturday for 2nd Lt. Joe Cunningham of Kingston will be at the First Baptist Church in Madill.
The 27-year-old Cunningham died Aug. 13 in a non-combat incident.
