It was standing room only at the Metropolitan Baptist Church near Pine and the Tisdale Expressway. The packed house was there for a vigil for Terence Crutcher. Crutcher was shot and killed by Tulsa Police last Friday as he stood next to his stalled car near 36th Street North and Lewis. Crutcher was not armed. However, police say PCP was found inside the car. Toxicology reports are still pending.
Members of the Tulsa City Council, Mayor Bartlett and Mayor-Elect Bynum attended the vigil. Last night's Tulsa City Council meeting was canceled so that council members could attend the service.
