Frightfully Swinging Stuff, Definitely: On the Next Edition of All This Jazz, It's Halloween

Listen for the next All This Jazz, right here on Public Radio 89.5 KWGS-FM, at 9pm on Saturday the 31st -- Halloween Night -- or else join us online via "live stream" at publicradiotulsa.org. (We'll also re-air the show on Sunday the 1st at 7pm on Jazz 89.5-2, which is our station's jazz-only HD Radio channel.)

Our program delivers three hours of modern jazz -- across a wide and wonderful range of styles -- each and every Saturday night, from 9 o'clock till midnight.

On the forthcoming installment of ATJ, not surprisingly, it'll be our Halloween Show, with tunes like -- to name but a few -- "Devil May Care," "Ghost of a Chance," "Witchcraft," and "Blues for Dracula" (shown here) in the mix. Join us for an all-killer-no-filler, sweet-as-candy-corn evening of music that'll also include numbers by Chris Potter, Ralph Alessi, Sidney Bechet, Lee Wiley, Bill Holman, and many others.

Come on along, jazz fans. No costume required!

(Two final points: ATJ playlist information can be found here, but you'll probably need to scroll down a little...and we also maintain a Facebook page for our show. Gracias.)

Scott Gregory started working at Public Radio Tulsa in 2006; he started listening to public radio circa 1980, when he and NPR both marked their tenth birthdays (although only one of them commemorated the occasion with a party at Skate World). Scott became this radio station's Operations Director in the summer of 2023; he also hosts and programs All This Jazz, which airs every Saturday night on Public Radio 89.5-1 from 9pm till midnight.
