Tulsa, OK –
The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers has determined it was not harmful Blue-Green Algae at the Chouteau Bend Recreation area.

However, the Corp's Ross Adkins says it has been found at a more popular area. Adkins says tests have confirmed the Blue Green Algae at the Taylor Ferry Swim Beach. The Corp is closing that beach immediately.

Adkins says additional tests are now being performed of algae found at Tenkiller Lake.

The Grand River Dam Authority still has warnings in effect for BGA on Grand Lake.
