Forecasters Warn of Busy Weather Week Throughout Oklahoma

Stormy weather is in the forecast all week for Oklahoma.

The Storm Prediction Center says southwest Oklahoma is at an enhanced risk Monday for large hail, tornadoes and isolated wind gusts, while the Oklahoma City area is at a slight risk for severe weather. On Tuesday, the western third of the state could see bad weather, especially in the afternoon.

Thunderstorms are in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and possibly into the weekend, too.

A flood watch is in effect from 3 p.m. Monday until Wednesday morning for parts of southwest Oklahoma because of anticipated heavy rainfall.
