Flames Destroy Sapulpa Home During a Thunderstorm

Tulsa Fire

Lightning may be responsible for an overnight house fire near Sapulpa. The fire department says the residents told them the home burst into flames after a loud boom about 2 a.m. Monday. A thunderstorm was in the area at the time.

While the home, near 96th Street South and Frankhoma Road, was destroyed, no one was injured.
