First of 5 Neighborhood Meetings Set in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — The first of five summer neighborhood meetings featuring Tulsa's mayor and city councilors is scheduled next week.

Mayor Dewey Bartlett Jr. and City Councilor Blake Ewing will host Monday's event at First Presbyterian Church downtown.

The other four meetings are July 7, July 8, July 28 and Aug. 4.

The meetings are scheduled in different parts of the city with topics including the city budget, public safety and the Arkansas River. Bartlett will provide an overview of the recent city budget process and city budgeting for the future. Councilors will present findings of the River Infrastructure Task Force.

Information also will be available at the meetings about Improve Our Tulsa projects and schedules.

All meetings begin at 6 p.m.
