Tulsa, OK – 2 downtown fires in Tulsa set by arsonist

(Information in the following story is from: KJRH-TV, http://www.kjrh.com)

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Tulsa authorities say two downtown fires were deliberately set.

Tulsa television station KJRH reports that firefighters were summoned at 4 a.m. Monday to respond to a fire at a furniture and cabinetry warehouse.

Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.

Another small fire was set nearby at about 11 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators say the fires appear to be connected. But firefighters say the downtown fires do not appear to be related to a rash of recent arson fires in north Tulsa.

No one was injured in the downtown fires.
