Oklahoma City, OK – Fired Feed The Children founder wants A.G. in case
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The fired founder of Oklahoma City-based Feed The Children wants Attorney General Drew Edmondson to intervene in his request for a temporary receiver to take over the charity.
Larry Jones on Monday said Edmondson should get involved to protect the public interest. A spokesman for Edmondson says the request will be reviewed.
A hearing on the request is scheduled in May.
Jones was fired last year after charity directors said he had hidden microphones in offices and had solicited bribes.
Jones has responded by accusing officials with the charity of failing to pay taxes, lying, mismanaging the savings account and firing whistleblowers.
