UPDATE: St. John Medical Center says it has NOT received any of the potentially tainted steroid injections. The FDA's list says only that the Oklahoma facilities bought product from the same lab that sold the injections, not which facilities actually purchased any tainted injections.
St. John says it did purchase a different drug from the company, and one in topical gel form instead of an injection. The hospital says while this topical gel was not the drug that was considered to be dangerous, as a precaution, it has removed the gel from its shelves.
In a statement released to customers, it said, "St. John Medical Center has not purchased methylprednisolone acetate steroid injections from the New England Compounding Company in Framingham, Massachusetts. ... St. John Medical Center patients receiving steroid injections will not be affected."

It appears some of the drugs linked to a laboratory associated with the deadly meningitis outbreak have been traced to Oklahoma. A list, released from the Food and Drug Administration, names clinics across this state that received any products from that lab.
