Fallen Fire Fighter to Be Honored

A Claremore fire captain who died during a water rescue operation last year will be inducted into the International Association of Firefighters Hall of Fame. The Tulsa World reports that Capt. Jason Farley died on May 23, 2015, after rescuing a woman and six children from a flooded duplex in Claremore. A memorial ceremony for Farley is scheduled to be held in Colorado on Saturday. His name will be added to the association's Wall of Honor, which memorializes firefighters who died while on duty.
