Faked Drug Bust?

Tulsa, OK – Accused Tulsa police officer placed on leave

TULSA, Okla. (AP) An undercover Tulsa police officer is on administrative leave after being accused of fabricating a drug buy that sent to people to prison.

Police say officer Jeff Henderson was placed on leave with pay Wednesday.

Federal prosecutors say in a document unsealed Tuesday that Henderson and Brandon McFadden coached a drug informant and fabricated a 2007 drug buy that led to the convictions of a man and his daughter.

McFadden is described as a current or former agent in the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Henderson's attorney says the claims are false and that Henderson is innocent. McFadden could not be reached for comment.

Henderson and McFadden have not been charged with a crime. The two convicted in the case have been released.
