The Golden Driller on the Tulsa State Fairgrounds

Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa State Fair is still a month away, but there are concerns about fairs and the flu. Some fairs across the nation are going to extremes to keep people and livestock apart. Brandi Herdon is the Ag-Business Manager for the Tulsa State Fair.

She says people will be encouraged to wash their hands before and after visiting the livestock exhibits.

While there have been no documented cases in the U-S of animals making people sick, they also want to be sure people don't infect the animals.
