Execution Appears Likely This Evening

KWGS News

It appears to be  a quiet, sunny afternoon at the Oklahoma State Prison at McAlester. Behind these white walls, officials prepare to carry out an execution. Charles Warner is to die for murder.

As the clock ticks toward 6 p.m., Warner is given his last meal and allowed to say good-bye to any visitors. This is a process he has been through before. He was set to die last April 29th.  However, his execution was called off when corrections officials encountered difficulties with the execution of Clayton Lockett, just two hours ahead of his date with death.

KWGS' Matt Trotter was there that evening and is back tonight to cover this execution.
