Ex-Stroud Cheerleading Coach Facing Sex Charge

Facebook

STROUD, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a former Stroud kindergarten teacher and high school cheerleading coach has been arrested on allegations of making indecent proposals to a minor.

The OSB says 35-year-old Mandi Layne Guerrero surrendered to Lincoln County authorities Tuesday afternoon on a complaint of lewd or indecent proposals to a child under 16.

Online court records did not list an attorney for Guerrero and an after-hours phone call to the school district was not answered.

The OSBI says it was asked to investigate after Stroud police were notified April 12 of an alleged inappropriate relationship between Guerrero and a 15-year-old.
