Ex ME Allegedly Committed Sexual Harassment

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Legal filings in a lawsuit by former Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner Doctor Collie Trant reveal that Trant allegedly sexually harassed an employee.

Trant was fired Feb. 5, 2010, after less than nine months as head of the state medical examiner's office. The filing shows Trant was placed on leave after the board that oversees the office learned that he had suggested the female employee buy an item from Victoria's Secret and model it.

Victoria's Secret is a national company that sells women's lingerie.

Trant testified that he was joking when he made the comment and that both he and the employee laughed
