A family of six are in the hospital after an overnight fire in Chouteau. Four of those hospitalized are children and two of those are in critical condition.
The home apparently had no working utilities and no smoke alarms. The parents were outside the home at the time of the blaze and rushed inside to save the children but were overcome by smoke.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
